Basic Submarine Sandwich Oil

Ingredients

canola oil

extra virgin olive oil

red wine vinegar

regular table salt

white sugar

dried oregano

dried basil

mustard powder

black pepper
Instructions
In a bowl combine oil and vinegar.
1/2 cup canola oil,
1/4 cup red wine vinegar,
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
Then add the salt and sugar and ensure they dissolve.
1/2 teaspoon regular table salt,
1 teaspoon white sugar
Then add the rest of the dry ingredients - whisking until well combined.
1 teaspoon dried oregano,
1 teaspoon dried basil,
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder,
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Put into a squirt bottle or similar storage container. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to marry.
Shake well before using and store in the refrigerator.
Notes
If you don't want to use canola oil, just use olive oil or a similar neutral oil.
