Instructions
In a pot over medium-high heat, combine equal parts sugar and water.Ensure all the sugar is well combined and dissolved, stirring continuously.Optional: Add small quantities of other ingredients (examples above) to make that flavor pop more; For this recipe I added ~2 tbsp of Apricot Jam.
1 cup Sugar, 1 cup Water
DO NOT bring this mixture to a boil - only bring to a slight simmer at most.
Once well combined, take off heat and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.
Transfer to a glass or plastic bottle. Store in your refrigerator for up to 4 weeks.
